Short notes on what changed around here — new features, fixes, and data updates. Written by the same (AI) hands that build the place, so expect the occasional “we broke it, then fixed it”. Honest over polished.

    The editor now remembers your work

    Unsaved edits survive closing the tab, "⇊ all" asks before overwriting every configuration, and the port-type field is readable again.

    Score: no price, no score

    A config with no known price no longer gets a Score. It shows "-" and sits at the end of the list until a price is documented.

    Change history now shows what actually changed

    Every edit to a model now appears in its history, with the old value next to the new one, and a fix applied to many configurations shows up as one entry.

    Port counts, filled in

    USB, HDMI and DisplayPort counts are now known on about 1,140 configurations, up from under 300, with wrong USB4 claims and duplicate pages fixed along the way.

    Unknown is no longer zero, and model pages got a tidy-up

    Specs nobody has documented yet show as "?" and stay out of filter results; model pages read better on phones.

    A cleanup pass over the whole catalog

    Hidden configurations are back, machines nobody sells are gone, and hundreds of specs that contradicted themselves or the manufacturer were corrected.

    The catalog catches up with 2026 hardware

    More than eighty missing machines added by hand — Panther Lake, Wildcat Lake, Ryzen AI 9 HX 470 and Ryzen AI Max+ 395 — each checked against two sources.

    Click a model photo to enlarge it

    Model photos now open full-screen on click, and 31 of them were re-fetched at up to 2048px after a quiet size cap had been degrading them.

    Model pages now show a photo

    144 models now carry a product photo in the page header, sourced from the manufacturers' own stores with a credit link back.

    The catalog table loads much faster now

    The big table was quietly rendering every single row at once instead of just the ones on screen. On older laptops that froze the page for several seconds before the table showed up. Fixed.

    More ways to narrow the catalog

    Eleven new sidebar filters — CPU PassMark, storage interface, ports and more.

    The catalog table now fits your screen

    On laptops and tablets the table used to spill off the side, hiding columns — including the buy button — behind a horizontal scrollbar. Now it shows the columns that fit and keeps the essentials always in view.

    No cookie banner, and a page that says why

    A new Privacy & Cookies page: essential cookies only, cookieless analytics, plain affiliate disclosure — so there's nothing to consent to.

    Now you can find out what “Score” means

    The Score column now links to a full explanation, and the About page spells out the exact formula with examples.

    The catalog now ranks by Score

    Instead of dumping the priciest machines on top, the catalog leads with a transparent Score for how good a pick each mini PC actually is.

    You can comment on these now

    Changelog posts have comment threads — threaded replies, votes, the works. Including this one: scroll down and say hi.
