The catalog's default ranking was putting a few brand-new machines at the very top for the wrong reason. When a price was missing, the Score quietly assumed an average one, and the newest flagships are exactly the ones that tend to have no price yet. The ASUS ROG GR70 led the whole catalog by about 13 points without a price or even a size.
- No known price, no Score. Such configurations now show "-" and sit at the end of the list, whichever way the Score column is sorted, until someone documents a price.
- Missing sizes were filled in for about 50 configurations whose dimensions were known but whose volume was not. Several large boxes, like the Minisforum MS-02 Ultra, moved down to where they belong.
- A few prices were corrected or added on the GR70 and on the Nvidia GB10 machines from ASUS and Dell.
Under the hood
The price used to be median-filled like the other unknown inputs. That is not neutral: prices go missing mostly on just-announced hardware, which also has the fastest CPUs, so the fill handed mid-range price points to rows that were already on top. A missing CPU benchmark or volume is still filled with the catalog median. The data-entry script now derives volume from the three dimensions when it is not given.
